Canvas Residential Partners has completed The Rosemoor, a 222-unit build-to-rent community in McDonough, Georgia, marking the firm's first project in the Atlanta metro.
The 27-acre community features two- and three-bedroom townhomes with amenities including a pool, fitness center, clubhouse, dog park, playground and private garages. Greystar manages the property, with leasing underway since 2025.
The project highlights continued build-to-rent (BTR) momentum in suburban Atlanta, where nearly 70% of multifamily deliveries in early 2026 were concentrated in suburban markets.
New regulations could further support new construction. The 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act restricts large institutional investors from acquiring additional existing single-family homes beginning in 2027, while qualifying newly constructed BTR homes remain exempt.
