Business Insurance Women to Watch Celebrates 20 Years of Industry Leadership
The Business Insurance Women to Watch Awards is marking a major milestone—20 years of recognizing exceptional women across every sector of the commercial insurance industry. Launched in 2006, Women to Watch has grown from a pioneering awards program into a global platform for leadership, education, and empowerment, spotlighting trailblazers in insurance, risk management, consulting, and law. In 2017, the program expanded internationally with the introduction of the EMEA Women to Watch Awards, extending its reach across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
The 20th Anniversary Gala will be held on November 11, 2025, at the Marriott Marquis in New York City, bringing together industry leaders to celebrate both the Class of 2025 Women to Watch and a special group of 10 Iconic Leaders—individuals whose long-standing influence has helped shape the commercial insurance industry over the past two decades.
Among the Iconic Leaders being honored is Alexandra (Alex) Glickman, Senior Managing Director and Global Practice Leader for Real Estate and Hospitality at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. In addition to her global leadership role, Alex is a trusted advisor within the Single-Family Rental (SFR) industry, working closely with owners, operators, and investors to navigate complex risk management and insurance strategies unique to rental housing portfolios. Her work supports the responsible scaling of SFR platforms while helping protect assets, residents, and long-term portfolio performance—making her recognition especially meaningful for the housing and real estate community.
