Lafayette Real Estate expands BTR footprint in Florida with two new townhome communities
Lafayette Real Estate announced the start of vertical construction on two new build-to-rent townhome communities in Florida, reinforcing its commitment to adding high-quality housing supply.

The Preserve at Crystal Springs (Jacksonville): a 64-unit BTR community of three- and four-bedroom townhomes located near major logistics hubs and employment centers. Homes are being built with sustainability features including Energy Star appliances and water-saving fixtures.

Hawthorne Hollows (Venice): 50 three- and four-bedroom townhomes in a fast-growing submarket near Sarasota and Florida's Gulf Coast beaches, with final deliveries expected by end of 2026.
Both communities are being developed by Lafayette's in-house builder, Marquis Homes, and will be managed by Brandywine Homes USA, which oversees more than 4,500 homes nationwide.
The projects mark continued momentum for Lafayette's BTR strategy, with ~1,200 homes planned over the next three years across key Sunbelt markets—supporting the broader need for new housing supply and professionally managed rental options.
